Overview of Tamur River Rafting:
Tamur River Rafting is one of the best white water rafting in the world! Tamur River has been one of the very famous rafting destinations among the river adventure lover since when it was opened in 1998 for commercial rafting. The reason why Tamur River rafting has been so famous is that, it is a great chance to float for anyone on the Holy Water of Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586 m), the third highest mountain in the world! Tamur Rive Rafting can be done by 4 days to trekking to Kanchenjunga trekking route or without trekking also it is possible to do this white water rafting in Nepal!
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Indra Adventure Holidays representatives will welcome you and transfer to hotel. Take time for rest, welcome dinner and Overnight in Kathmandu. (D)
After Breakfast in the Morning, time for Sightseeing Tours to visit some of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed sites and then Trek preparation time. Overnight in Kathmandu. (B)
In the morning after breakfast, Fly to Biratnagar (30 Min flight). Drive to Bhedetar and have a Lunch; and drive to Hile for Tongba. Overnight in Hile. (B, L, D)
Next day drive to Basantapur and Start Trek, climb to Tinjure (3000 m), a beautiful hill top with Rhododendron flowers in the season. Overnight in Chauki Bazar. (B, L, D)
Chauki Bazar to Gupha Pokhari Trekking, enjoy the Sherpa Village & Cultures. Overnight in Gupha Pokhari. (B, L, D)
After enjoying the Panoramic Mountain views from Gupha Pokhari, then start trekking from Gupha Pokhari to Change Village. Overnight in Change Village Homestay. (B, L, D)
Change Village to Dovan Trekking and. We will be spending our day for much-needed rest and prepare for running on Tamur, the next day. (B, L, D)
This is the day; Tamur River Rafting adventure begins at Kabeli Khola from Dovan. We will prepare all the necessary gears, and the professional rafters will brief you on the safety measures. We will camp at a beach by the banks of Kabeli for that day. (B, L, D)
We will raft to Hinwa Khola from Kabeli. The rapids become more challenging right from the beginning, but the rapids decrease in frequency once we cross the Limbu Bridge. We will stop by the sandy beaches and set up our camp. (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will start rafting from Hinwa Khola to reach Limbhu Khola. At first, the river is flat and therefore we can loosen ourselves a bit and enjoy the landscape. We will be spending that night in the Camp, by the side of Limbhu Khola. (B, L, D)
By this day, we will have rafted for four days on some of the most exciting and vigorous rapids. So, on this day, we will get a chance to relax a bit. In around four hours, we will reach Mulghat from Limbhu Khola. We will spend the night at Mulghat. (B, L, D)
The next day, we will paddle on Tamur River to reach Tribeni. We will be setting up our camp for that day at Tribeni, by the side of Sun Koshi. (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will raft until we reach the famous Hindu temple of Baraha. We will spend some time sightseeing, and then paddle to Chatara – our final rafting exit point. We will have our lunch at a local restaurant. From Chatara we come to Dharan. (B, L, D)
Drive to Biratnagar Airport and then Fly Back to Kathmandu. (B)
Prepare for final departure back home and Farewell Dinner. (B, D)
